Bushcare
GBSAN Bushcare group collaborated with SDRC for the second time on 19th August. We made an impression on the Sentimental Rocks reserve in Stanthorpe where invasive plants such as Agave, prickly pear and Madeira vine had taken over an area adjacent to Jardine St. Our friends from the council are keen to join us again during the spring to tackle the privet that is also rampant there.
For September we have shifted the date back to accommodate some members, and we will meet on 23rd at 8.30. The venue is Jardine St. once again. There will be an hour of follow up at the site from the previous visit, followed by a training session in plant identification
