Climate & Energy

Members are a group of local residents and volunteers.

• We work towards advocating for a greener energy future

• We provide input to a range of community initiatives for renewable energy, including a Community Benefit Agreement for large renewable energy projects

• We liaise with other community and business groups including Chamber of Commerce, Granite Belt Wine Tourism, Granite Belt farmers and our local council

• We provide educational material and liaise with other environmental groups to provide either web based or written information on renewable energy

• We advocate for more energy efficient housing

• We provide information on how to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels by educating about electric alternatives

• We welcome new members; energy@gbsan.org.au
