Members are a group of local residents and volunteers.
We work towards advocating for a greener energy future
We provide input to a range of community initiatives for renewable energy, including a Community Benefit Agreement for large renewable energy projects
We liaise with other community and business groups including Chamber of Commerce, Granite Belt Wine Tourism, Granite Belt farmers and our local council
We provide educational material and liaise with other environmental groups to provide either web based or written information on renewable energy
We advocate for more energy efficient housing
We provide information on how to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels by educating about electric alternatives
We welcome new members; energy@gbsan.org.au
