Launch of the Friends of Broadwater Group Sunday 24th May

You are invited to the launch of our Friends of Broadwater group. We have received funding from Friends of Parks Qld to set up this group. The project aims to establish and support a regular volunteer programme delivering ongoing conservation work in the Broadwater State Forest.

The group will work closely with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and the Quoll Society Australia. This work aims to improve the habitat for our native species and reduce invasive species. We have some exciting events planned over the next 6 months that centre around educational activities in setting up trail cameras, night spotting and mapping. These citizen science activities will contribute useful data to QPWS and the Quoll Society Australia.

The event is free and we are asking people to register with Humanitix for catering purposes as we will be providing refreshments. So come along to find out more!
