Apple and Grape 2026 – GBSAN Float

Our GBSAN float for the Grand Parade at the Apple and Grape Festival on Saturday 7th March is well under way. Our enthusiastic team, led by Pattie Lee, has been getting down and dirty with papier mache and paints. We will be showcasing GBSAN activities with a giant – earth globe as a central feature. 

Pattie is relentless with coming up with the ‘Characters” walking alongside the float – we have Captain Planet, General Waste, Lord Landfill, Sheryl the Feral cat, Blooming Biodiversity Connector, General Electric etc 

Can you help decorate the GBSAN float?

Come and join us at the Farmer’s Market on Sat 14th Feb anytime between 8:00am and 11:00am to join in the fun of preparing items for the float. Contact Geraldine community@gbsan.org.au if you would like to walk with us in the grand parade.
