Friends of Broadwater
Don’t forget to come along to the launch of our new project – setting up the Friends of Broadwater group on Sunday 24 May at 2pm at the Granite Belt Brewery.
• We were successful in securing $2500 to establish the Friends of Broadwater group. This will be coordinated by GBSAN member, Chris Mitchell (Mitch) who has extensive experi-ence with QPWS and conservation.
• This project will work in closely with the Rangers at Girraween NP, Stanthorpe Rare Wild-flower Consortium and Paul Revie, Quoll Society Australia. This project has a focus on Citizen Science as well as the usual Bushcare activities aligning with QPWS priorities.
