GBSAN was successful in securing $1500 in this year’s Stanthorpe RSL Community Grants. Thanks so much to the Stanthorpe RSL which supports so many community organisations. Funds received will cover First Aid and CPR training for six of our Bushcare volunteers. This training will improve volunteer safety, emergency response capability and confidence when working in bushland settings.
We will also purchase a comprehensive outdoor First Aid kit, including snake bite treatment supplies, to ensure the Bushcare group has immediate access to emergency equipment during field activities.
Funding will also be used for essential weeding and bush management equipment to support ongoing restoration works.
